On Tuesday 8 October, EURADA alongside Scotland Europa will mark the European Week of Regions and Cities with a discussion on how economic development agencies are important actors in making Europe more inclusive and sustainable. We are delighted to invite you to the discussion, which will introduce the soon to be launched Scottish development agency, the South of Scotland Enterprise, as well as presenting Scotland’s collaborative approach to economic development.
The Chairman of SOSE, Prof Griggs, will be joined by the representatives from Scotland’s two longstanding agencies Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise to present a shared vision that encompasses increased wellbeing, and a sustainable and inclusive economic growth model.
The event will take place from 15:45 to 18:00 and will be followed by a drinks reception. The discussion will focus on the collaborative approaches taken by Scotland’s economic development agencies and offer insight into how they continue to be important actors, helping Europe move towards inclusive, sustainable economic development models.
If you wish to participate in the discussion, you can find additional information and register for the event on the EURADA website.
