Scotland's Energy Transition: the importance of collaboration

Scotland House Brussels

Scotland House Brussels is delighted to invite you to our upcoming event, 'Scotland's energy transition: the importance of collaboration' taking place on Monday, October 26, from 15:00-16:00 CET, via the Webex platform.

Scotland has long understood the need to work hand-in-hand with partners and friends who share a similar vision, ensuring and facilitating cross-agency and cross-sector collaboration to come together in an open and inclusive way to maximise the opportunities as well as tackle the major challenges the world is facing.

Investing in the sustainable energy system has been a hallmark of cross-sector collaboration in Scotland. As we move into a new phase in economic development in light of the pandemic, much of the focus in Scotland, and across Europe is on delivering a sustainable, green recovery.

This event will focus on how we work together in Scotland to deliver on these ambitions, looking at how the Scottish approach to collaboration and cross-agency and cross-sector working continues to make Scotland a willing and natural partner for our European colleagues and friends.

Join experts Jan Reid, Senior Manager, Low Carbon Technologies at Scottish Enterprise, and Paul O'Brien, Deep Wind Cluster Manager at Highlands and Islands Enterprise for a discussion on Scotland's energy transition and the innovative approaches we are taking to achieve it.
