Brexit: What next for the UK and Scotland?

University of the Highlands and Islands | Centre on Constitutional Change | European Commission Representation in Scotland | The UK in a Changing Europe

In March, the UK Government gave official notice of its intention to withdraw from the European Union. It is not yet clear what form Brexit will take and what our future relationship with Europe will be. The Scottish Government has set out its own demands, including that Scotland should remain within the European single market.

Please join UHI for a chance to learn more about the issues at stake and what the options are. There will be short presentations by specialists on Europe, followed by an open discussion.

This is part of a series of talks around Scotland organised by the Centre on Constitutional Change to inform the debate and allow citizens to engage in it.

A video conference link is available for this event. If you wish to use this facility, please contact iona.macdonald@uhi.ac.uk as soon as possible and at the very latest 48 hours before the event.
