Scotland Europa and the Scottish Government would like to invite you to Scotland House, Rond-point Schuman 6, Brussels on 26 March 2018, for an event to promote Scotland’s formal position on FP9.
During the session, you can expect:
Scotland is passionate about fostering a culture of innovation which supports the high-impact, world-class research of our universities and research institutes and improving levels of commercialisation of academic research. We know this ambition is shared at a European level, which is why Scotland would like to share with you its formal position on the structure of FP9.
The event will primarily focus on sharing Scottish R&I related views, expertise and experience in the shape of key recommendations and priorities stemming from our FP9 position.
There will be an opportunity to engage with confirmed speaker, Shirley Anne Somerville, Scottish Government Minister for Further Education, Higher Education and Science, Sheila Rowan, Chief Scientific Advisor for Scotland, as well as network with a number of high-profile participants, including EU officials, Principals from Scotland’s top universities.
