The Scottish Government EU Office is delighted to invite you to a special Poetry Edition of the successful Scottish Writers Series, which showcases Scottish literary talent to a European audience. We are pleased to welcome Scottish poet Catherine Wilson who will be presenting her exciting work and speaking about what inspires her writing.
The event will begin with a lunch from 12:00 - 13:00, followed by an interactive discussion with Catherine taking place from 13:00 - 14:00.
Catherine's poem, 'Scotland The More', is featured as part of the Transpoesie poetry festival in Brussels which brings together poetry from across Europe to celebrate diversity and linguistic heritage. As part of Transpoesie, an excerpt of her poem is on display on buses, trams and the metro throughout Brussels in English, French and Dutch to showcase fresh and contemporary poetry to the public.
